1. Platform controller
Arobaa is owned and operated by Big Z. We process data required to run the platform under applicable Egyptian law, including Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations No. 816 of 2025.
2. Data we may collect

- Delivery addresses and approximate or precise location if you choose to share it.
- Orders, products, amounts, payment states and delivery states.
- Transfer evidence uploaded for a payment method that requires review.
- Messages, complaints, ratings and service-related communications.
- Technical and security data such as session, device, login attempts and error/security logs needed for reliable operation.
3. Why we use data
We use data to fulfill orders, calculate delivery, connect customers with merchants and delivery providers, verify payments, prevent fraud, operate notifications/support/complaints, maintain accounting records, protect accounts, improve reliability and meet legal obligations.
4. Who may receive data
We share the minimum needed with a party that requires it to perform the service, such as the merchant handling the order, the delivery provider, and hosting or technical providers supporting the platform. We may also disclose information where required by law or a competent authority.
5. We do not sell customer data
We do not sell customers’ personal data to advertisers. Corporate documents or personal information about Big Z’s owners/officers are not part of your customer profile.
6. Location and addresses
Location information helps price and perform delivery. Where available, you can provide the delivery point manually. Do not submit another person’s location without a lawful basis or permission.
7. Payment evidence
Payment or refund evidence is used for verification and audit and should contain no more information than necessary. Where possible, hide financial details that are not needed before uploading.
8. Retention
We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service, secure accounts, resolve disputes and meet accounting or legal obligations. Transaction records may need to remain after account closure where retention is legally required or justified, with use limited to the necessary purpose.
9. Security
We use role separation between customers, merchants, delivery and administration, session protection, audit trails and access controls for sensitive files. No electronic system is risk-free, so controls are reviewed and issues are addressed when discovered.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to data about you, correction of inaccurate data, and deletion, restriction or objection where the relevant right applies. We may need to verify identity and may retain information that must lawfully remain or is needed to protect the rights of parties to a transaction.
11. Cookies and local storage
Arobaa may use cookies or local storage necessary for sessions, selected area, cart, security and usability. Core platform functionality does not require third-party advertising trackers.
12. Technology providers and transfers
If operating the service requires processing or hosting by a technology provider or a transfer outside Egypt, it is handled in accordance with applicable legal requirements and only to the extent needed for the service.
13. Minors
If you do not have full legal capacity, use the service under the supervision of a parent, guardian or lawful representative and do not submit data unnecessary for the transaction.
