1. Who operates Arooba
Arooba is a digital platform owned and operated by Big Z, a Limited Liability Company registered in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The platform connects customers with available merchants and delivery services and records orders, payment states and operational events.
2. Account and legal capacity
- Provide accurate and current information, especially your phone number and delivery address.
- Keep login credentials confidential and prevent misuse of your account.
- If you do not have legal capacity to enter the transaction yourself, use the service under the supervision of a parent, guardian or lawful representative.
3. Prices and orders
- Product prices and delivery fees shown before confirmation form the basis of your order.
- Availability and final fulfillment depend on merchant acceptance, actual stock and any clearly presented change that you approve.
- A purchase from several merchants remains a set of separate merchant orders even when parts of delivery are grouped.
4. Payment
Available payment methods are shown during checkout and may include cash, direct electronic transfer or other enabled methods. Electronic transfers may require evidence and remain subject to the confirmation workflow shown for the order.
5. Delivery
Delivery fees and available estimates are shown before confirmation. Arrival times are estimates and can be affected by traffic, weather, merchant readiness or circumstances outside reasonable control. Nearby-trip discounts are governed by the published Delivery Policy.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation or a refund request does not automatically produce the same entitlement in every case. The outcome depends on fulfillment stage, pickup, product nature, cause of the issue and payment route, while preserving mandatory legal rights.
7. Responsibility of the parties
The merchant is responsible for product description, quality, validity and preparation of the accepted order. The delivery provider is responsible for the delivery stage assigned to it. Arooba coordinates and records the workflow and reviews disputes and settlements using available evidence and audit trails.
8. Acceptable use
You must not submit forged payment evidence, impersonate another person, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt operations, or use complaints/messages for abuse or threats. Accounts may be restricted where there is a security, fraud or repeated-abuse risk.
9. Intellectual property
The Arooba name, logos, platform design and proprietary content are protected. The Big Z mark and logo belong to the owner company. Use of the service does not grant permission to copy or commercially exploit this identity without a legal basis or written authorization.
10. Outages and events beyond control
Features may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, communications failure or events outside reasonable control. We aim to state service status clearly. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Applicable law and complaints
The relationship is governed by applicable Egyptian law, including Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018. We recommend first using Arooba’s complaint center to seek a resolution, without limiting your right to approach competent authorities.
12. Updates
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date appears at the top and changes apply to later use after publication unless the law requires otherwise.
